EASTER EGG HUNTS ON TAHOE’S NORTH SHORE
From the slopes to the sandy beaches of Lake Tahoe, there are so many options for Easter fun. Here’s a quick list of some of our favorite things to do and places to enjoy Easter Hunt and Easter Brunch on Tahoe’s North Shore.
Head on over to Tahoe City for their annual Spring Eggstravaganza. Rain, snow, or shine, they’ll be there with hundreds of eggs to hunt starting at 10:00 a.m. Plan to stay awhile for an afternoon filled with more festivities! Oh, and your pets are welcome, too!
Commons Beach in Tahoe City will overflow with music and family friendly events during the community’s “Tahoe City Spring Extravaganza.” Be sure to bring your camera for a family photo with the Easter Bunny!

Underwater Egg Hunt ~ This is one kids look forward to each year. It’s the community’ annual Underway Egg Hunt which will occur on April 13th at the Incline Village Recreation Center. Children can participate in a series of hunts in the pool from 10:00am – 11:30am. The last hunt will be held at 11:20am. Some eggs will float and some will sink. Each child gets a small goodie bag for attending. We have swim safe baskets for the kids to use while hunting in the pool.
Spring Eggstravaganza Community Egg Hunt Come join in the fun on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Incline Village Recreation Center Creekside Forest Location (980 Incline Way)/ Youth 11 and under are invited to hunt at this free annual event. Arrive at 10:30am to take pictures with the Bunny and explore the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District Engine. The hunt begins at 11 am and groups hunts are as follows: 0-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8, 9-11.
Easter Hunts for adults anyone? We love this place as much as the events they host throughout the year – and their Easter festivities are no exception. They started a great trend years ago to get the adult involved with their own treasure hunt for the more mature. Think: (cocktails anyone?) And be sure to bring the kids as their annual hunt for the little ones is always a must do on the edge of the Lake.

With one of the most significant snowpacks on record, spring time in the Sierra means endless sunshine and activities on the slopes and off. You don’t need to go off-piste in Tahoe’s back-country or leap off K-2 at Squaw all day long to have a fun and fulfilling spring vacation in Tahoe.
Take a look at these highlights of things to do with your family in the winter in Tahoe, and then make a date with your family to head to the Lake this year:
One of the finest adventure companies in Tahoe offers some of the most spectacular snowshoe tours in and around and above Lake Tahoe. They have everything you need to get out for that fresh spring air and a little exercize wrapped with some of the most incredible views on the planet!
