Snowman Snowdown Contest Rules and Prizes – Through March 31, 2024
Away from the ski slopes’ hustle, join us for a laid-back family day packed with play and snowman wonder. Contest begins February 6th through March 31, 2024.
Discover the creativity behind snowman crafting—techniques, accessories, and boundless ideas on our Blog.
First, grab your own snow making kit and other snow toys at the front office of the resort. Then, head out to our snowy beach and start building your creation. When your masterpiece is complete, text or email your photos to 530-288-4428 or info@mlrtahoe.com.
And remember, snow creatures embody all forms –snow families, snow dogs, and even snow superheroes–tall or short, lean or round, but above all they symbolize self-expression and the wonderful mosaic of identities in all their beautiful forms.
Prizes!
Every Entry Wins. Each entry wins a ‘S’mores Kit’, and kids get their turn at a dip in our big grab bag full of candy and toys.
Monthly Prizes. Every month all entries are evaluated, and a prize is awarded for the best in each category.
- Most Creative or Festive – Win a ONE NIGHT STAY* in one of our beautiful Lakeview rooms complete with a kitchen.
- Kids Gone Snow Wild – Win an awesome SNOW SLED.
Grand Prize. A THREE NIGHT STAY* in one of our beautiful Lakeview rooms, complete with a kitchen PLUS a family of four ICE SKATING ADVENTURE* at Northstar California.
*Subject to availability. Must be used within 2024.
Contest Rules
- Contest time frame is snow and weather dependent.
- Must be built on the shores of Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort for valid contest entry.
- Photos should be submitted via text or email to: 530-288-4428 or info@mlrtahoe.com. Please include phone, email and full names of participants.
- Please, no food items or environmentally unfriendly props in your snowman creation. Protect our wildlife and environment.
- Please keep this a ‘Family Friendly’ event.
Awards are announced on Social Media and by text on or around the 10th of the following month of entry. Grand Prize announced mid-April.
