Alpine Skiing & Boarding Near Lake Tahoe

In fact, there are 12 North Lake downhill resorts within minutes, including Palisades Tahoe at Olympic Valley (formerly Squaw Valley and Alpine), Northstar at Tahoe, Diamond Peak, Mount Rose and Homewood Mountain.  Most of the Lake Tahoe ski resorts have great multi-day pass options, ski schools, on-site rentals and terrific eateries right on the mountain.
