Alpine Skiing & Boarding Near Lake Tahoe

Geography matters and so does powder! North Lake Tahoe has some of the best downhill ski and boarding options for all levels of adventurers, the world over! In fact, there are 12 North Lake downhill resorts within minutes, including Palisades Tahoe at Olympic Valley (formerly Squaw Valley and Alpine), Northstar at Tahoe, Diamond Peak, Mount Rose and Homewood Mountain.  Most of the Lake Tahoe ski resorts have great multi-day pass options, ski schools, on-site rentals and terrific eateries right on the mountain.

Any skill level will have their pick of adventure from family friendly all the way to double black diamond shredders. Want a little more adventure?
